Many New Experiences!

First off: The Show. It. Was. Amazing. Not at all what I expected when they said "show." It turned out to be a massive concert with over 15,000 people. Not only was it a concert for a Brazilian group that I really like (Jorge & Mateus), but it was so much more! I met a ton of people, but I don't remember any names. I also got to know what the teenage culture was like. I was fore-warned about the culture, but all I can say is wow! Everyone knows how to live! There was also a large bull-riding competition which was very exciting to watch, and was a new experience for me! We ended up getting home at 3am, and I was very tired! Today, I had a really laid-back day. It started with me spending a lot of time talking about my live in the small town of Appleton, Wisconsin with my host family. I actually really enjoyed sharing my life with them! They were very interested.... and excited that I said everything in Portuguese! I am really feeling comfortable with the language. Then, I went to a picnic with the exchange students from Australia (Marlee) and Norway (Kari) along with some friends from another girl's school. Everyone was so nice and talked with me! Everything was very chill and that is what I really needed after the long travel and concert! Again, I have to say, I absolutely am in love with the culture and way of life in Brasil.
